So /jp/ I have a question for those of you who've studied Japanese, what's the best way to proceed after memorizing the kana? I've used this site so far http://www.guidetojapanese.org/learn/grammar/ and after the kana it seems like it expects you to suddenly grind kanji like a machine. Wouldn't it be more sensible to practice reading in kana first? I'd also be grateful for any teaching material you could provide.

Much appreciated,

Anon

Hey, /jp/, does anyone happen to have a cheatsheet like this, except focusing on katakana?
