I’m going to chip in my two cents here.

I don’t think Gensokyo is nearly as dangerous as you lads believe. You won't die the minute you arrive there, Rumia isn’t going to suddenly devour your head the minute she sees you. I’d wager you’d probably (depending on where you are) last half hour to an hour before a Youkai gets you and tortures, mutilates, or otherwise kills you.

As >>37407147 stated, your average outsider probably wouldn’t know where they are let alone that the cute child with the red ribbon and black dress is a man-eating Youkai and thus wouldn’t run from the Youkai or try to fight it (and inevitably die anyways since trying to fight a Youkai as a normal human without the resources to do so is a suicide mission unless your incredibly lucky)

However someone more knowledgable like say somebody who actually plays 2hu or at least has some modicum of knowledge about the lore would probably be smart enough to run away and find the nearest settlement (human village, Hakurei shrine, moriya shrine, etc). Somebody like Rumia isn’t gonna move at the speed of light, you’ll probably be fine so long as you are aware of your surroundings and are running fast enough.
