Nobody knows what game they feel like playing a week of advance. I don't wake up on Monday morning and be like "Fuck, I wanna play ark for exactly 2 hours on Friday"

Having a set schedule for games makes it feel unorganic and a job-like. And yes, it is a job for them but it doesn't need to be that obvious for the watcher. As streamers get bigger, most of the viewers are there for the streamer themselves and not a set game, thats why lots of big streamers attempt to make the jump from 1 game only to variety streaming. If they just posted a schedule being "I'm streaming from 18:00-21:00 Mon-Thurs" and picked what games they wanted to play on stream or a few hours earlier
