Hello, I'd never posted before that one time but I'm glad to hear appreciation. Most 07th fans on Twitter are a collective atrocity and have taken an "ok cool" attitude while they shill the Steam release. Probably just clinging to their epic generic anime sprites.

For some reason, even the Japanese version of Ciconia runs on PONScripter, so it's much less portable, but it definitely runs on Linux. Methinks Witch Hunt are just being assholes, unless they're using their own hack of PONS which would be very bad for everyone. You can try compiling the version they're most likely using, https://github.com/sekaiproject/ponscripter-fork

Please don't run things in Wine unless necessary. NScripter is Windows only, it was ONScripter-EN that every fan-translation was using, but of course that's dead. If the JP version of Ciconia were in NScripter, someone (I) could easily port its English text to ONS-EN, but it's gonna rely on PONS specific features which would make everything a bitch.

It was going to be a typo fix but has ended up a partial retranslation of steadily increasing quality, what better text to use as a base than the most blunt and crude translation? The cool thing about the old releases was that they felt cold and bleak when the story turns in that direction; the new ones are borderline goofy.
