I got a friend to start reading umineko, but it's been years since I read it, what is the proper way to interact with someone that just started reading it without spoiling him, how can I be a proper Featherine, what did you guys do in this situation

Alright folks, I need some help. I'm on Episode 6. Do I just give up on the Epitaph? None of the people I know who have read Umineko could solve it, and one of them told me to not think about it and jut let it be answered in Episode 7. I've already figured out some of the mysteries, it's just this one that's been lagging me for a while. I know that I first need to figure out where Kinzo is from (a place without big rivers and with some development), and where ougon no sato is. I just can't figure out those. What now?
