Seems that at least USD and krona have similar worth in A3W as in our time. At least, their exchange rate is similar, and this is a lot of money.
Unless it's just EUR being very different, I think this somewhat discredits the "3 eur is a lot of money in A3W" theory of the 3 eur allowance.
