there's no laws in the US stating that you can't have that material. No federal law exists on that subject. If your package is opened by customs they put a sticker on it stating as such, and if they decide it's contraband you just have to go over and fill out paperwork. They don't open packages though, the only time they open them is because of probable cause, like drugs or weapon parts.
