>I think some people had higher expectations because the last ones with Rikiichi, Mayuyu and Maimoto were better than the norm.
I completely missed Joe's and have been putting off watching it forever because I'm bad with archives, firmly consider Mayuyu's to be not worth watching in anything other than a matome for the bits that aren't the last 5 minutes, and Maimoto's was pretty good so no problems there. Ebio's just sucked though. It had all the tropes you'd see in a 3D stream but basically none of them worked, and while I know Ebio can just be an awkward lad and going into 3D only increases said awkwardness, that doesn't exactly make it good. Just understandable. Except for the last bit, that was just bad. Why the fuck would you use a Switch game you've never played before to bum around in 3D? Whoever said he should've gotten a Kinect game was a genius; could you imagine him playing some random dancing game?

Basically, I don't think it has anything to do with people setting their hopes "too high". If anything it'd just lead to it getting bashed non-stop if this happened after Gibara's or something. If anything it felt more like your average non-event 3D stream rather than a 3D debut stream which isn't a good thing.
