I'm just explaining that Erika is complete loser. Reminder that she lived in Germany until Kindergarten, and was severely bullied in the beginning of elementary school for not having the same language competency and cultural awareness that the other kids had. It's obvious that Erika never had a single friend before joining Nogizaka. I wonder if her big sister even talked to her, often times the older sibling that excels completely ignores the younger sibling's existence.

When they went over the home videos of Nogis as kids there was nothing of Erika interacting with anyone else. She was completely alone failing at all of her lessons and tutoring while her mother grew increasingly frustrated at her incompetence.

I wonder if Erika's mom beat her for being such a loser and failure? Or if she just tried to pretend Erika didn't exist while she focused on her older sister, the Toudai student, and pride of the family.

Just look at the first time Erika tried to cook on Nogidoko. It's obvious that the following times were heavily scripted, but the first time was pure incompetence. Erika's mom had never even shown her how to cook eggs. Pathetic.
