It is not erroneous to say they are all lossy, it is factual. It's like how the word 'theory' is abused in common language. But that is a discussion for another time.

I realize that one group was talking bout compressors, I was making sure we nipped any 'lossless' stuff in the bud so we don't get dragged into a pointless fight of trying to pander to audiophiles.
