Not that it makes up for their incompetence, but Cover is in a shit situation when it comes to handling the western fanbase response. Hell, most western companies don't know how to deal with when western fanbases freak out.

I'd say they should get some sort of expert on handling western optics, but there's a high chance that they'll be grifters trying to push Cover into one political alignment or the other.

Sad as it is, what should have been an escape from political bullshit has now become appropriated for the ongoing culture war. I've just about given up.
