yeh I don\t remember when or where he said it, but Koba had said that part of the whole point of Babymetal was to attract attention from the rest of the world to Japanese metal and he did do that one time when he split an EP with Kiba of Akiba and then 6 years later it's "lol we love Dragonforce and all these other bands from 1999 MTV"

Obviously they sometimes once in a blue moon allude to the fact that they're actually Japanese and have cultural elements that are found only there. Also this was to plug their American-made cartoon web series, so of course Koba wouldn't cut that question out.


But all that aside, if you want to believe that all three girls share Koba's personal taste in Western music, then go right ahread.
