Thanks for the analysis anon, it's always nice to see one of these, specially about the Yorigami sisters, I'm a bit interesting in further reading about the economics of japan prior and post bubble pop, specially the reaction of people about it but I'm a bit of a dummy about things like these so I wouldn't know where to start.
I understand where the dance came from and I understand the dance itself did not originated on that game, rather than "what is this style of dance" or "what is this animation portraying", my question was along the lines of "what source did Tasofro used to create this animation" or to be a bit more specific "When creating this animation for Jo'on, what did they referenced".
"Anyone knows what this dance is based on?" might've been a bad way to phrase it alright.
I know it gets kinda stupidly specific, specially since you don't even get to see the full animation properly on the game with all the flashing lights, but I saw the exact same motion/angle from a video dated to 2015 and curiosity piqued as a pattern was created in my mind. "oh must be a reference to something", like the cat from Sazae-san coming from inside a fruit and shaking it's hips.
Makes sense it's a generic dance but looking at the sprites I can't help but feel it is what I was looking for. Motion-wise, they look nearly identical.

It was less summoning the robot and more controlling it with fin wire attached to her fans.
which makes sense a the robots are called karakuri in her region.
