On the one hand, it'd be kind of sad watching everything you once knew die and the cultures change into something completely alien from when you were young. But on the other hand, that only strengthens your bond between you and your wife. For each other, you're that one constant in life that doesn't change. That constant that you can take comfort in and remember the good times from eras past.
