The viewcount difference was abysmal.
And I agree about VY being japanese focused only. They could have gone with official english subs instead, boosting the views of the original videos without overworking Shiro. Hayuyu's english is way above average(for a jap thats it), but nowhere near bilingual level, and the fact they choose videos with shitty SEA subs didnt help.
