We can understand that Ryukishi's art cannot appeal to some people. Reading it with the PS3 sprites without the CG at first can works even though they will miss a bit on the dialogues, they saying to them to start reading Episode 2 and the rest in vanilla.
However, I find it quite paradoxical that people that wanted/start to read Umineko because of some memes with the OG sprites want to read the VN with Alchemist asset.
