Well they are more fun at times, but burst/time stop usually have only 1-5 charges. Personally I'd rather go with thrown weapons after several boosts related to it among the last ~20 updates.

There is nothing more satisfying than oneshotting a boss with burst ammo, though. Explosive ammo/stuck out is generally much better for ranged char than ball/bolt spells as well.
