Loaded question but I will try to explain my stance on it as best as I possibly can. Personal view of it dictates that in its forging, a Cursed Sword has a bit of the spirit energy in the blacksmith imprinted into it. So I suppose in a way, the spirit of a Cursed Sword would be drawn to a woman that exhibits traits such as passion, ambition, vengeance, etc. In this way as well, it would make it easier for the flesh and the spirit to co-exist with one another, and in time go on to be with their "mutual" husband.

Unfortunately, it would take trial and error on the part of the male owner/wielder, because there'd inevitably be a moral dilemma on whether or not to make the woman take up the weapon or not.

Which is why like I said yesterday I'd almost prefer a spectral/solid spirit form for the sword that's based on both the country of origin and personality in MGE.
