Ever since learning japanese and getting to a good level to browse and enjoy japanese touhou forums I've begun to despise /jp/. There's only so many image dumps devoid of any meaningful discussion that one man can take. That's 99% of /jp/ aside from the non-touhou stuff. Admit it: /jp/ sucks and it also sucked during those dreamlike days you keep longing for, mostly because this board is and has always been EOP-central. I can't discuss untranslated doujins. I can't discuss news about the scene without translating statements first. Because if I don't, some EOP faggot is going to come in and opine without having read a lick of what I'm talking about.

nijisanji thread, those vtuber postsrs you hate so much, probably has the most concentrated amount of japanese literates on this god forsaken board. Aside from the odd holofag that wanders in to shit up the thread, I'm gonna have to say it's the best of what /jp/ offers right now because it doesn't have as many EOPs
