I could do that, but then I'd run into the same problem as before: how do I promote new art without appearing to be playing favorites? For example, Latenight draws a simple doodle cute wurm squeezing a cat, while Barb draws a Fire Emblem waifu as a griffon. Both are things I consider "good," but do I link both? Especially when they post them on Twitter/Tumblr/etc already? Now imagine that conundrum extended to every artist out there that draws MG content. It gets complicated way too fast.

As for your spoiler, I believe the answer is yes. I'll delete my picture if it really pisses people off, but you can see how interest has slowly been dying. Back in "the good days" we had frequent new girls from KC, not to mention writefags galore. People weren't afraid to create and/or comment on content, which meant more content in general. Now though? I'll be straight with you: /trash/ writers get more (and better) feedback for their efforts. If it weren't for people like latenight propping up these threads with their art, /mgg/ would be dead in a month.

Sorry to be a downer, but that's simply how I see the current state of affairs.
