Depend on if you love her or not really. This pic which I based it off way back when says they let you go assuming you don't wanna marry them. So if you don't like 'em, then you don't get used to it, you leave before that can happen. But I mean if you wanna stay with one, I can only assume you get used to it

Hmm, When you say that yeah, I suppose, but she's a fish. Where else could they co-exist comfortably? That's a good point though I think I might try and find a way to corporate it into the story. Turn it into a character trait or something, him being lonely and over-eager for human contact, makes him jump the gun in certain areas. I just can't really envisage a a natural relationship forming, otherwise. I mean usually two people spend time together and grow acustomed to one another, but she was starting and wanted him as food, and her kind, I'm imagining, is pre-disposed to looking after their "prey" what with the whole nursing back to health. I'll admit to having trouble in thinking up a way of convincingly having them spend time together, outside of her just keeping him chained up 24/7 'till she releases him a while down the track. In my mind it leaves less room for things to happen is one party is rooted to the same spot.

So I wrote a bit more of the rusalka story. I'm a little torn, however. I'll be taking the personality and fallbacks of pic related, but I'm not sure as to whether or not I want to give her legs or keep her as a mermaid. Thoughts?
