I don't know how to put it exactly, but she used to be more sincere
It wasn't often that she opened up but on the rare occasions she did, it truly felt like her loosening up to have simple heart to heart, now it feels like there's an extra wall between Flare and the elfriends that wasn't there before, even the members only streams have distanced themselves from what they used to be before. Her attitude also feels different
I don't dislike her now by any means, she's still my absolute favourite, maybe is just a matter of getting used to it, she has grown a lot as of these past few months, it's only natural that bigger the audience the more distance the chuba has to take in order to keep it healthy, I don't want Flare to end up like Rushia, way too invested in her fanbase to the point were it can hurt her. So I guess in the end maybe it's craving for something that shouldn't have been there in the first place, even if i really miss those late night candid zatsudans
But as you say not everything is negative, she's clearly happier and more self indulgent than before, her confidence is at an all time high, and while I don't think she has "ditched" Noel, the slight distancing between the two of them is a positive, I guess in the end it's just a matter of getting used to how things are now
