Did someone give Maria the umbrella and letter? If so, who?
Who wrote the letter that Maria was given?
How did the letter get onto the table in Kinzo's study?
Are there 18 people or 19 people on the island?

And then for Episode 2 you can ask:
What happened to the shrine to make it disappear?
Who did Rosa and Maria meet in the garden? Does this confirm the existence of a 19th person?
How did the letter get into the parlor, where Maria, Rosa, and Battler are? Where are all the letters coming from?
