You can find some places that look like shit just randomly around towns, but other then some villages in the countryside or mountains that are 90% abandoned i am having a hard time thinking of any reall shitholes.

Also abandoned rural villages are not so much shitholes as just sad places that most forgot.
And if there are still any people living there they at least keep the roads clear and clean up the village center most of the time.
