I was being exaggerating, of course, besides the Barong knife I only own one crappy decorative Katana as well as two Chinese hookswords, a Jian straightsword, a machete, a Dao broadsword and a fighting stick that separates into two unwieldy blades - all of which are decorative & training garbage except for the machete & barong

I'm saving money for a proper Japanese katana.

A waifu's no good if you're dead, and most machetes are garbage.

If it were a katana-wielding otaku on the other hand that'd be a much bigger risk, but a calculated risk I'd be willing to take without thinking twice about it.
