I probably can't even finish a game in easymodo these days. Last time I played was when DDC got released.

After my mom died I was a neet for ten years from age 18 to 28, then my free money dried up and I had to find work. I'd go back to neet life in a fucking heartbeat if I could. Didn't have to interact with anyone besides my brother, didn't have to deal with other people's bullshit and expectations for me, didn't even have to leave my house except to buy groceries once a week. All my social needs were met with internet friends and shitposting here. I could stay up all night and sleep whenever I wanted without worrying about screwing up my sleeping habits, I had tons of time to pursue my hobbies. It was heaven.

I wonder if all this time on the /jp/ would be better spent actually reading and listening to Japanese, and spending more time learning Japanese.

Hell, it's been nearly a year and I haven't even completed basic hiragana. I've literally - in the dictionary sense of the word - used 99% of the time I would have used to study Japanese shitposting on /jp/.

I'm even supposed to be working now of work that several rich women are paying me to do, but I even have no willingness to do that, even though I'm receiving lots of money. I just want to take it easy all day and shitpost on the jay about how I really, REALLY want to fuck star sexual.

I wonder what would happen to me if I stopped going on 4chan. Hell, I wonder if my life would be better if I stopped using the internet for leisure. Whenever I try to quit, I come back because I can't find anything to replace 4chan and feel uncomfortable outside of my timesink.

But it's just plain messed to know that /jp/ was the website that introduced me to Touhou, and yet I've had most of WaHH, FS, and most of the other printworks in my backlog since 2013 because I've been too comfortable in my shitposting rut to do anything else.
