So what is Alter in the original FSN? What is her state of mind? In latter media (including FHA) she was established as a person of her own, a bit of a gag character but a character nonetheless. But what about the original game? Was she actually aware of her actions? Maybe some weird sense of duty was guiding her, or sheer anger? Or is she a Berserker-like mindless weapon?
