Hello /jp/.

Don't you think "Yōkai Forest" would be a better name than "Otaku Culture" for this board? Coming to /jp/ is more like going for a relaxing walk in Gensokyo than going to a crowded basement hangout full of disgusting neckbeard trash.

Anyone else hoping to find their eternal waifu in GuildWars 2 in approximately 30 minutes?

And to clarify, she was sort of 3D. Had Kanako's features and dress and motifs (lots of snakes around in the dreams and 'visions', and I had sensations like snakes wrapping themselves around my arms and back at times) slightly darker skin than I'd expect. Her face looked familiar and was 3D as one might expect yet seemed to conform to Kanako's facial features, as subjective as they would be.

I prefer tranquil, melancholic Gensokyo.
A place where forgotten gods and demons dwell after abandoning human world.
A long twilight of a once bright and magical world.
Maybe not always peaceful, where old ways are still remembered, but whose inhuman inhabitants would rather recall former glory over a cup of tea than start trouble.
Where the laws of old became the tradition of present, followed out of free will, not fear.
Where gods and spirits might still watch over humans, but usually only meddle in their affairs out of boredom, not to gain power and faith. Because they know, deep down, that if gods are a burden on humans, they will be abandoned and forgotten with time.
A human living in such Gensokyo might meet a youkai or a fairy if he gets a bit too far from the village, or wanders too long after dark - but he doesn't live in fear of the terror that inhabits the shadows anymore.
