I really think this is an interesting concept. However I think you'd find a lot of people rather wanting to do English teaching even if it's not in Japan simply because of the relative difficulty. I'm past College age but I guess I can answer as if I was in college. Right now I have family members to care for and this wouldn't be something I can really do.

>1. Would you be interested in travelling to Japan to work on a farm?
I think maybe I would have been when I was in college. I really didn't like school and got a degree for no reason, and I sure don't use it now.

>2. What modern conveniences do you require?
Hot Water, heat, and Internet. When I was in college I only ate rice and had Internet and heat, that's it.

>3. What is the minimal sq. ft. of personal living space you require?
I can see some people being okay with 10x10 rooms but I think some people might want more than that. I'd probably be fine with anything, I actually lived in a 4x8 closet for about half a year, just with my laptop and bed.

>4. Would you work the 4/2/1 day?
I would personally be fine with this.

>5. Would occasional cultural exchanges/group volunteering be interesting, or not interesting?
It could be interesting but would this be the kind of thing you'd supply translators for? It seems that anyone who is even slightly bilingual could manage something better, unless they have a really big interest in farming already.

What a great catchpa
