There are people here right now who would do the same shit. Anon if you've spent ANY time on /pol/ or some other imageboards people don't let shit go and yes it is mentally exhausting which is what makes it worse because all they think about is that individual, group, thing because they literally can not think of anything else.

As for her. Her issue is her type of depression messes with her. So she sees a comment directing hate towards her she might brush it off but then it triggers a reaction in her brain that causes a negativity spiral this issue is made worse by the fact she was actually harassed so those negative thoughts get reinforced with experience. The other problem is it is a day by day type of problem somedays she might be able to blow through them with no issue and another day 1 comment might send her into a spiral.

I guess the main thing is it is something that gets better over time. Like once you hit rock bottom which she clearly did months ago your survival instincts start kicking in and you become better at avoiding or coping with those thing. Which is evidenced(as far as I can see) by her asking for youtube channels to watch, playing more AC and claiming she is using twitter less. Time will tell.
