For real snakes the max traveling speed (the black mamba) is only about the speed of a person walking (it often looks faster because snakes can travel through thick undergrowth so easily), and large snakes like pythons and boas tend to travel much slower.

However, lamias would benefit from a presumably higher metabolism and more muscle mass (since they don't have to house many organs inside their snake portion), and so could be faster.

Still, I'd wager they wouldn't be that fast overland. Rather, like real snakes, their greatest speed would be in rapid strikes from a coiled position.
