The release doing so little damage means that, unless you're doing a no release run, Summer will end up doing more damage more consistently to bosses on average. Winter got nerfed hard from the demo in that regard.

There's only ever been once Case of something YHWEH related in Gensokyo, and It nearly killed Reimu when it came to visit,(blew up her fucking Shrine with her in it) and that was Sariel, the Angel of fucking death, and this was set before Reimu mastered both Yin Yang orbs also, she basically won by hitting the bloody thing into what appeared to be massive wound in Sariels chest before what looked to be her physical form was destroyed and she went into that orb thing, and then got killed and had to reincarnate as a wish granting fairy.

Then Reimu went to Kick Kongurra's ass, because she had the Shrine destroyed by praying for it to be so, which probably gave the faith required to let Sariel in in the first place.
