"There's your answer. She's not just another oni." Suika spoke highly of her, I said. "She's - She's my greatest." What...Did that mean? "She's the greatest human who I ever turned into an oni." Suika said, smiling. Up above, Reimu had been forced to dodge, At least, until a blueish blur shot by and threw a keystone at Kasen's back, revealing Tenshi's figure. She used the distraction to toss Reimu's gohei back to her. "Those two, together, from what I hear, were enough to defeat her the first - Rather, the second time." Tenshi and Reimu attacked as one, but Kasen was still able to use the chains on her wrists to hold them back.

Suika, I said, drawing her attention to me. Would she let Kasen separate again if she wanted to? Suika opened her mouth to respond, but I could see the conflict behind her red eyes. "If - If she wants to. Only if she wants to." She finally said, clearly forcing the words out. I supposed that would have to do for now, but I wasn't sure what we could do if Suika decided to intervene.

"Oi!" I heard a yell from up the mountain and caught Yuugi, peering out a tree. Had that been where she'd fallen? "Suika! You just gonna lie there and let those two have all the fun!?" She gestured wildly. "Get the hell back up here!"

Suika laughed lightly. "She's got a point." She murmured, sitting up. "Alright. Back to it. Just like a thousand years ago." She hopped into the air, then shot upward, dragging Yuugi along with her. "Kasen! I'm not stopping until you're screaming my name!"

"Only if you scream mine!" Kasen called back, catching hold of Tenshi's hand and spinning, throwing her into Reimu, who was forced to fall back. She laughed again, the joy clear in her voice. "I've not the slightest inclination to lose to any of you!" She certainly didn't seem like she would be losing to anyone either.

I looked down at Yamame and spotted a drop of sweat trailing down her forehead, so I stopped pushing the boat along and asked her to come closer. She'd pulled off the coat that she'd brought with her already, but the sweater was still on and was likely the culprit for the sweat, so I told her to raise her arms. "What - Are you going to...?" Arms, I repeated. She looked at me funnily for a moment, then finally did as I said so that I could push her shirt up from where it reached at her hips, up and over her head. I also took the opportunity to play with her hair slightly, but that was for me. Stepping back, I saw the t-shirt that she'd been hiding. A white thing, not shoulderless like the sort that Komachi and Lady Hecatia had, The sleeves were fairly short, showing off a lot of her arms, and the words were written in red along the top: 'Hot as Hell' with the 'o' in 'Hot' replaced with a heart. Very...Lady Hecatia, I thought. The blood splatters covered much of the bottom of the T-shirt, with some blood having splattered all the way up the front and to the right. It...Hugged Yamame's hips amazingly. Now, I felt like I should have made her take the sweater off sooner. "You're, uh, staring." Yamame informed me, her cheeks just slightly red. I thought about trying to brush it off but decided otherwise immediately. Yes, I replied. I absolutely was. "You're hopeless. Completely incorrigible." She told me, but there was a wry smile on her face.

Once, I had finally wrenched my eyes away from the tantalizing curves before me, I managed to ask Yamame if she hadn't considered fighting Kasen too. "I - Considered it. But...Well, I remember the kishin of old and I don't want one of them punching me in the face - And I think Kasen might be stronger than them, so...If I human asks to fight me, though, I'll never back down." Why was that? "Humans are just so creative about fighting. Look at Reimu and Marisa. They've got so many tricks up their sleeves." What about me? "Well, you might not be much of a fighter, but you've got your good points." Thanks, I replied dryly, so Yamame hopped up into the air and rose to my height. Wrapping her arms around my neck, she kissed me for a few moments. "They are very nice good points, mind you." She murmured, releasing me. I supposed I could live with that. Yamame had her good points, too. So many of them that I struggled to find the weaker ones. "Flatterer." She told me.

A while longer, though, and a few near misses from shockwaves nearly dropping us into the water, and we seemed to be done. "The next one - That'll knock us in. I'm sure of it." Yamame was saying a lot of this sort of thing, so I decided that the prudent course was to get back to Lady Kasen's dojo and be back on solid ground. While the fight above us had moved slightly further out - And grown in intensity, if the sounds were any indication - We weren't so far that I couldn't find my way back, and we managed to return the boat to its mooring before anything bad happened.
