Yeah that's more my problem. I was like level 20-24 when I reached the boulders zone before the flying giant on the west side of the map and decided to go see the town called Alfaro something.
Well, all the enemies were level 40+ and I got my ass (almost) kicked, but I loved every second of it. Fighting trainers with two pokemons of level 50 scared me shitless but my Ateshi (forma de clodsire) carried my ass to the top.
Fast forward reaching the town, I use fast travel to get back on path and the flying titan and everything after that feel way too easy since my party is so strong.
