Battler and Beato only start having some sort of 'love story' in EP3, which is also the first episode that Tohya wrote. Coincidence? No. Beato is the equivalent of Tohya writing a dead woman as a waifu for his previous self. It wouldn't have gone like this at all with Yasu's input. All of the staff trying to defend Battler for Beato were instead making sure Tohya would be forever fucking his body pillow of the waifu he cooked up for the coolest guy ever Battler Ushiromiya.
