Yukari was frustrated at the moment, Chen's innocent questions sat on her mind heavily, Ran's disobedience shook something inside her deeply. Where she was once carefree about that viper-faced women's meddling now she was forced to pay attention since Totetsu proved that Okina was rolling into action. If Okina was moving then that meant she was hunting for allies, and if she was hunting for allies that meant the stubborn Moriyans were the first in line if Okina had any sense in her cripple brain.

The Gap Youkai sat in her small quaint residence irked by annoyance. She was around 180 miles from Gensokyo in a small suburban neighborhood, a place she liked to rest at sometimes when she was annoyed at plebeians and just wanted a nice quiet get away free from servants and the worry of her livelihood. It didn't help that every hour or so one of the busses that passed by approximately 1 block away had a faulty muffler that increased the sound by exactly 14.2 decibels as it passed by... Well nothing that a quick fudging of the break line couldn't fix once it was far away enough to not be her problem anymore.

She just couldn't understand why people didn't understand that she was in the right on this, what was so wrong with helping those lesser than her? She even made sure his daughter got in free and protected those clients from the wrath of the miko! Great... another migraine was coming on... she opened a gap, taking a small white pill from the desk in her office back in Genoskyo and opened another gap, dropping a small palm sized bottle of distilled fine spirits from the store room of one of her little ventures located somewhere in the Turkish peninsula into a carefully manicured hand.

The pill went down dry before chasing it down with the spirits, it always increased the effects of the medicine just right~

Underneath her a fine couch coddled her body as the tv droned on about this and that, national news at this hour. She watched with a half amused eye the schemes and tribulations of the outside humans; a politician caught in a scandal and giving the most threadbare of remarks in apology, some foreign government official giving thinly veiled threats that would never amount to anything, a famous star giving an interview with their vapid mind.

All nonsense that meant nothing to her but gave a sort of balm to the situation that she found herself in, all these apes plotting and scheming without rest or purpose. Not a single one who truly cares about those below them and without a shred of remorse or shame. Nothing like her, this was Yukari Yakumo after all! The women that built the eightfold cage where she trapped the gods themselves!

Yukari swung her body up, creasing the thin nightgown she lounged in and toppling the half empty pint of icecream she'd been munching on. These apes won't outdo her in their schemes and plots, neither would the gods she caged, neither would the lowly youkai that should be honored to kiss the ground she walked on!

Fiery determination filled her body, she clenched her hand into a fist like that drama protagonist did earlier. After all, she got the witch and green miko together, she listened in on the plan and between the munching and thinly veiled guilt of the witch that foolish girl let something slip that would be their undoing!

One of her gaps opened up under the toppled tub of icecream placing it gingerly in the freezer and another extended some kind of appendage which turned off the television. She manipulated the boundary between leisure wear and business wear as her white dress and purple tabbard appeared over her body. She bounded up to her feet and for the first time in way too long she smiled in satisfaction as she stepped through a gap.

The words the green miko said were clear enough, that Okina and Totetsu were gathering allies enough to smash the little diorama she built if it came down to it. While she didn't know exactly what the terms of the bargain they'd try to strike were it was clear what their prize was, it was something she couldn't let them have if the Hakurei bloodline was to be saved!

Despite the distaste of dealing with this two-faced women it was a necessity if she was going if was going to be able to tie up one of the main conspirators that rallied against her. The other side of the gap opened and soon enough she found herself exactly where she needed to be, outside the gaudy lair of that horned women.

It didn't take long for the spirits of those little otters she favored to swarm around her as she spoke to them without a care for what they thought they could do to her, "I'm here to see your master, Kicchou-San is in isn't she?"

Last night i had a dream and Yukari was there. She was the only 2hu in it though. From what i recall it seemed to take place in the outside world, but nowhere I had recognized. there were cars and everything seemed relatively modern. We basically just flew around most of the time and saw all kinds of stuff. I wasn't really sure what we were supposed to be doing or anything. Eventually we were at some sort of building. It was more like a fortress, actually, and i saw a bunch of high tech machinery and weapons everywhere. It had to be at least a few thousand years in the future. It ended when both of us were walking down this really long tunnel underground.

At one point in this dream i might have actually slept next to her, too, but I can't remember.
