I showed Utsuho quite a bit of favoritism as well. She's outclassed by Kaguya, sadly, but she can still output some serious damage if you can get her magic stat high enough. The Chireiden team bonus can help quite a bit too if you deploy Satori and/or Orin with her. Orin is unfortunately very situational at best (she was a whole lot better in the first game) but Satori is extremely useful despite her low stats.

Utsuho also pairs well with Marisa. Marisa can increase mystic damage dealt by 20%, and Giga Flare deals mystic damage.

I had a ton of trouble with the Mirror bosses (Mirror of the High God, Divine Beast's Mirror.) I never found a good way to make a quick recovery from World Devouring Calamity, and it doesn't take long before their stats spiral out of control. I slaughtered just about everything else, though.
