What's the consensus here on the AJATT method?

I just found out about it the other day thanks to a video made by someone who did it which got posted in one of the recent threads ( >>17313064 ). Here is a summary version of the method which I found:

I'm still reading through the AJATT site itself so I don't know how accurate that summary is, but it seems to be an accurate representation based on what I understand about the method so far.

The method itself sounds quite similar to what Steve Kaufmann often says in his videos, except where Steve doesn't really like flashcards/SRS (because he thinks they're boring), this method emphasises their use (though not in the way that DJT uses SRS - the AJATT method puts entire sentences on cards instead of isolated vocab words).

From what I gather so far, the AJATT method is largely based on a method developed by some Poles who used it to learn English (with some other stuff mixed in from other sources, such as Stephen Krashen who was/is a big influence on Steve Kaufmann):

The entire site there is written by said Poles in English, and reading through it is all the proof you need that their method works.

Note: I understand that the guy behind the site has a really bad reputation online these days*. I'm not asking about the personal character of the author though, I want to know what people here think to the method itself.
