Ice monster girls are fantastic and so is their realm.
Your setting seems to stray a whole lot from MGE but you could still take some inspiration from pic related.
One thing I'd love to read is small revelations about the Selkie that each show clearly just how monstrous she is
>She has to kill any whale that gets close to her territory because that's just what she does
>She shows extraordinary instinct and physical prowess that she considers completely normal
>She's not bother by bellow freezing temperatures even while naked
>She can't even fathom something that's common sense to humans
While I'm fond of this idea I can also see it being frustrating if it gets dragged on as some sort of long term big reveal even though every reader already know she's a monster.
