Personally I would never not choose the original 6th grade literal cute.

But JC Satoko is important. More so than splitting between OG/Gou when there already was a witch option as well.
JC is the sweet spot between her handsome adult-like features and her cute child-like ones. You can't just ignore this tantalizing phase of her development, not when Watanabe made it stand out on its own so clearly and beautifully.
