Eirin is kinda funny. She sealed the entire fucking earth to solve a problem that wasn't actually a problem in the first place. She's that kind that rushes into something that catches her attention and does whatever said something is flawlessly but misses the forest for the trees in the process. It's endearing.

Assuming the translation isn't fucked. Going off of memory wasn't it also stated that she had begun interacting more with the humans? And it's curious that she chooses to label herself as one. I wonder if there's more to it; I mean I couldn't imagine her being summoned by Yorihime or any nonsense like that. And I don't think she's dependent on faith?

I was more going by the fact that she was stated as "much older" than Kaguya, and was even around when the Lunar Capital was established, which would have vastly predated when Gensokyo was established.
