i know it has rank, but i don't really know shit about the game beyond what i just played. kill some guys, pick up power ups, get upgraded weapons, get assfucked by bosses.

but considering i was credit feeding like there's no tomorrow, i doubt rank had much affect on anything beyond stage 2.

i do like the game though. it has an oldschool feel to it, at least compared to Cave's other games.
