I hate how that first paragraph was essentially "NOW THAT THE DUST HAS SETTLED", and I wish that he had talked more about the actual music rather than all of the internet drama surrounding Babymetal, but he does make a fair point in that it's not for everyone, just like kvlt metal.

I just lurk there but I know that posting any direct download links is totally against the rules, there was a big shit show a while ago when someone was just streaming legend 97/99 from their google account but if you clicked around you could still download it so the mod deleted it and people revolted and I think the guy who actually did his own reddit spreadsheet quit reddit in protest of that decision, so long story short - no it wasn't reddit.

Maybe it made its way around IRC circles instead? It could have made its way to some reddit people through there.

I'm mostly talking shit, I don't know how many tickets they've sold vs how many they need to sell, but bands cancelling shows - if not entire tours - because of poor ticket sales does happen. It *probably* won't happen, maybe.

It's mostly when bands make a "comeback" or reunion tour and really overestimate how popular they still are so they book venues that are way too big and impossible for them to get even half-full and break even financially/make a profit.

Then again, Babymetal's management might also be overestimating how popular they are even without them being on a reunion tour, playing a single show in a country that is nearly 30X the size of Japan doesn't really warrant them playing a solo show in a completely different part of that country.
