personality wise they're on par with the rest of the 2hus and aren't that bitchy, people hate them because they completly shat all over the powerful characters in the series like Reimu, Remilia, and Yukari. I wouldn't call SSiB bad though, it has a serious tone but I didn't take it serious and I enjoyed it somewhat.
