Cancer usually is spurred by errors in cell signaling pathways in a newly divided cell. Muscle cells for all practical purposes don't divide (they can certainly bulk up / fuse for healing, though). Thus, no dice with the usual method of oncogenesis. On top of that, they have multiple nuclei, so even if one of them got badly fucked up it has backups and will just destroy a malfunctioning one like any other organelle.

That's why you generally don't hear about any sort of "muscle cancer" overall... muscles just aren't that vulnerable. I mean, it's possible since there's such a variety of ways to get cancer, it's just highly improbable.

Likewise, constantly reproducing tissues, such as those found in skin and the digestive tract, are at a far higher risk of becoming cancerous.
