yeah the difference is that all those bands are actual bands who decided for themselves that they would have on-stage personas, and they have no issue with doing interviews or whatever else just as themselves and not their persona. GWAR have performed without their costumes, Gene Simmons is just Gene Simmons most of the time, Slipknot actually unmasked way early into their career when they went on a break in 2002, even pic related knows to have fun with it and to not take his own shit so seriously.

With Koba, his shit is 100% serious 100% of the time.

When they're on tour, it's all Koba.

He's their music producer but he's also their tour manager and responsible for PR during the tour and controlling the interviews, he may or may not be their legal guardian as well if not some other touring staff member.

All of the pictures backstage at concerts aren't planned months ahead between Amuse and the bands' record labels, they happen spontaneously. Pic related.

But regardless, they haven't hung out with any real drug addicts or real shady characters or anything... yet...
