Well it's a pastiche of a generic RPG setting, isn't it?

Normal RPG setting:
> Battle monsters as they hit you with swords
> If you lose you get injured / robbed
> If you lose real bad or your enemy especially hates you, you get killed
MGE setting:
> Battle monsters as they hit you with marshmallow hell
> If you lose you get raped
> If you lose real bad or your enemy especially likes you, you get permanently confined to the love-nest

So MGE doesn't support short-term relationships *if you're a Lv1 adventurer who gets BTFO in every encounter*, which constitutes only a limited subset of man/monster interactions.

The fact that it took about 9 years to go from "I'm totally making a game guise" to the first demo should, I admit, have been rather a red flag
Man needs some Torotoro power

These girls are always in my party in Paradox.
Although to be honest it's nothing to do with them being harpies; rather the "Here little sis, I beat up this man so you can practice getting knocked up, let big sis demonstrate first" makes me incredibly diamonds with its sexy inversion of sibling responsibility. I like, very much.
