So, about Oyashiro-sama's statue in the saiguden as seen in Gou episode 7...

Are we supposed to assume that Satoko has looped all the way back to her early childhood, at least once? Relived her parents' deaths and all the other traumatic events? Without changing anything about them? Just to avoid her "curse" and/or possibly get the sword?
Or is Rika just going through fragments with different past now?
Or something completely different?
