I don't get why people are still coming to this thread to ask this every week, but consensus is the same. IMO all three movies were equally bad, but the third was so egregious only the most deluded fans could avert their eyes.

It's funny you say this when that was the only part that it actually preserved (but it was still ruined by putting it in the fight anyways). Every single detail is practically an insult.

It was like that in the VN too. This also has way bigger problems, namely the ghosts of Kerry and Iri because Illya's closure is getting to acknowledge Shirou as her little brother, to have had a family again if only for a moment, not still clinging to the dream of her long-dead family. Also IIRC the movies made it seem like Shirou was afraid of dying because dying is scary, not because he didn't want to abandon Sakura. So much for the Sakurafag director.
