I can see what you're trying to say but you are incorrect, greedy companies kill FRANCHISES, not fandoms, they are both 2 completely different things, someone like Konami buying Bomberman and then never making a good game again is what happens with greedy companies

this will never happen to Touhou because ZUN loves touhou, he lets people make fangames and gachas, yes the gachas suck, but they aren't official, they aren't the main thing, so this is a non-issue
